Tata Balanced Advantage Fund NFO is for those investors who seek capital appreciation and income distribution from equity derivatives strategies, arbitrage opportunities and pure equity investments. The NFO aims to generate capital appreciation along with generation of income over medium to long period. Tata Balanced Advantage Fund will be investing predominantly in equity and equity related investment. It will also take advantage of debt and money market instruments. However, the scheme does not guarantee any assured return. The scheme also does not guarantee that the scheme objective will be met and hence investors shall take judicious decision in consultation with their financial advisors.
The NFO period for Tata Balanced Advantage Fund is 9-23 January, 2019. Allotment of units will take place on January 28, 2019. It is an open ended dynamic asset allocation fund. Under normal circumstances, Tata Balanced Advantage Fund will invest between 65-100 % of corpus in equity, equity related instruments and equity derivatives. The investment towards debt including cash will vary between 0-35% of corpus. The investment in debt will be in money market instruments, securitized debts, units of debt and liquid category schemes.
An investor can participate in the NFO of Tata Balanced Advantage Fund by investing minimum Rs. 5000 and in multiples of Rs. 1 thereafter. Minimum additional purchase stipulated is Rs. 1,000 and in multiples of Rs. 1 thereafter. The scheme offers both regular plan through distributors and direct plan. Under both channels Growth and Dividend option are available. Redemption can be made for minimum Rs. 500 or minimum 50 units. There is no entry load for investment. However, an exit load of 1 % on NAV will be levied if redeemed prior to January 29,2010, ie before expiry of one year from date of allotment of units.
